Adaptive Yoga creates a mind-body connection through creative modifications, adaptations, and use of props.  Vasanthi offers a safe and effective yoga experience yoga in a therapeutic and supportive setting to gain strength, stamina, endurance, flexibility, and balance.  Through simple breath based movements, one can develop focus, concentration, and release tension, anxiety, and chronic pain. 

Yoga sessions are carefully designed to be accessible and meet the needs of children, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities to learn the tools of body, breath, and mind to self-care, self-love, and self-regulate.  Individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADD/ADHD, LD, and This adapted style of yoga will meet the need of individuals with a range of physical challenges, including muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, joint replacements, spinal surgeries, neurological disease, arthritis, COPD, cardiac and more.

 

Sessions allow opportunities to practice and learn specialized breathing techniques to improve concentration, and make shifts to address the body mind states to create a harmonious inner and outer environment.
Private Classes are available for those who are overwhelmed in groups or new situations or may benefit more in a one on one setting
