Bringing Yoga to Your School
Empowered Kids brings yoga to schools, daycare centers, organizations, and families. Our program is an educatoinal program that combines science based exploration of the body, mind, and breath with the system of yoga to support and enhance health, learning, and personal responsibility.
Children learn to implement specific tools of yoga to address the conditions of their mind-body states and bring balance to their nervous system. Yoga empowers children to create a harmonious inner and outer environment which research shows has improved focus, concentration, creativity, self-esteem, self-regulation, responsible behavior and academic achievement.
Yoga is presented through the study of the body, mind, breath, and social development.
Breathe In, Breathe Out
Our Yoga in School program provides children an understanding of the Systems of the Human Body. Through hands-on-activities, labs, and explorations of the body, children learn to use the knowledge to self-care, self-regulate, and take ownership to their learning. STEAM based lessons with Yoga as the foundation supports children in integrating the body, breath, mind, and self; thereby empowering them to lead and healthy and balanced life.

Learn to Listen to Your Body
Practice & Education
Our packages can be designed for a 12, 18 or 36 week time period. It is recommended that each group practice yoga at least once per week. This will allow students to more readily access and draw upon the many benefits that our Yoga program provides. Our yoga curriculum strives to integrate yoga into your school’s learning community by empowering students, parents and teachers with the knowledge of how to implement specific tools to support their health and well-being.
